The Garden’s Thriving

Got some much-needed rain after about a week’s dry spell. I managed to keep the beds watered though it got pretty close to burnout for the potatoes and cucumbers. Here’s my photoset for this year’s garden.

I’m harvesting pole beans to seed the current year’s crop. These are pole dry beans I got a few years back from Seeds of Change. I’ve saved them for a few years now. Maybe some day they’ll be “Baynes Street Beans”.

Lafayette Square

One of Buffalo’s finest public spaces. Built like a big room, with a wonderful view down Court Street of Niagara Square and City Hall. Often dramatically lit in the late afternoon.
